We had his 2 week follow-up visit at the pediatrician this past Wednesday and the doctor says he is doing great.
What's new with Levi?
- He is starting to lift his head and look around a lot more (not that he can see very far yet)
- He tries to bear weight on his legs a little
- We started doing some tummy time this week although he prefers to fall asleep at some point
- Levi has already been out and about quite a bit - to the drugstore, target, the mall, trader joe's and costco
Jeff went back to work this week but has been working from home part of each day. Mom Adler has been here this week and its been wonderful having BeBe and Dr. Mom around. We are trying to absorb all that she knows about kiddos. We are sad to see her go home tomorrow but thankfully she is only a phone call away.
Next week is my first week at home alone. I am a little nervous but am sure that after a day or two I will be feeling more comfortable.
Everyone asks us how things are going. I like to say that things are manageable. Yes, we get less sleep. Yes, we have our moments. Overall, the transition to parenthood has gone well so far and we are looking forward to some of the milestones up ahead.
